It's always great to see Jimmy's photography on "display". I'm having lunch with him today, perhaps I can score an autograph, although I think his "completion fees" are a bit high.

And since we're being nostalgic, the future was there in this Astronomy Picture of the Day for December 9. It could have been really cool.

It would have been a great shot for photographers if the shuttle had launched when this photo was taken. Nice sunset lighting.

Had it launched then, it might have been a pretty photo, but it would have been a bad day for the photographers, Jimmy and myself included. We were within a mile of the pad...
