Apollo command module 009 is hoisted aboard the aircraft carrier USS Boxer during recovery operations following the successful unmanned suborbital Apollo/Saturn-1B mission AS-201 on February 26, 1966.

I cut my flight controller teeth on AS-201. We ran 144 training simulations of that 38 minute lob downrange. Very reminiscent -- thanks for posting.

Ed, I would appreciate copies, as well. I never did see the inside of SC 009. As I recall, it used an Agena timer for the automatic functions.

By the way, Ed Pavelka was one of our ace FDOs.
