The final Saturn launcher is rolled out from the VAB to launch complex 39 in preparation for the 1975 Apollo-Soyuz mission.

Yet another great shot Ed!

On a lighter note - the Saturn 1's sitting on that launch stool always made me think of a little kid sitting on phonebooks to reach the dinner table...

After always seeing the Saturn V on that launch platform, the Saturn 1B looks like a toy!

The perspective on this photo really works some magic -- seeing the flowers "so large and close" really does make the Saturn look like a toy. Man, Ed: what a great, fun shot!

I remember seeing that Saturn sitting on the pad. Seems like yesterday.

Ah, but to have witnessed [and felt] a Saturn V launch from the VAB. THAT would have been something.

Nice photo Ed,

I just returned from a 20-day tour in Arizona & New Mexico and the occotillos and cactuses were in bloom there as well
