A rainbow shimmers above Space Shuttle Columbia after the first launch attempt for STS-73 was scrubbed on September 29, 1995. Several more launch attempts would follow and it would take until October 20 to launch the reluctant Shuttle and its USML-2 Spacelab payload. Ed Hengeveld |
