I am looking for information on Sir Stanley E. Boyd, experimental test pilot for NASA. Can anyone help me with what kind of aircraft did he fly, his birth date, etc.? |

He tested the F-111. I do not know what other aircraft testing he performed. |

There was a Stuart Boyd that was a test pilot and a Stanley Butchart as well, but no Stanley Boyd. There was a Stan Boyd that was a NASCAR driver though... |

There were both a Stuart as a Stan Boyd who worked on the F-111 TACT Program - Col. (Ret.) Stanley E. Boyd, (former NASA test pilot, F-111 TACT Program
- BGen. (Ret.) Stuart R. Boyd, (F-111 TACT Supercritical Wing flight testing)
To my knowledge, both are still alive, so you might simply want to contact them directly. Stu Boyd has his CV somewhere on a military website. |
