I have not been in two years so I am really looking forward to it. I see Gregory H. Johnson, STS-123 and 134 has been added to the show.

Normally you pick up your tickets (and a packet of stuff) at the hotel (Raddison). They will be available Thursday evening if I recall correctly. I assume it will work the same way this year.

Thanks for the message. That's a good message. I'm staying at the Radisson.

Due to an unexpected schedule conflict, General Tom Stafford will only be able to attend our show on Sunday, November 10. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

On a happier note, he has agreed to participate in an ASF mail-in signing. We expect this to take place in the next two or three months. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for details.

Does this mean he won't be signing at the event itself at all, or only on Sunday?

Thanks.

I think that means he'll be signing on Sunday.

Too bad because it would have been great to try and get a photo with him and Cernan together but I'm glad he's going to be there. Never met him so I'm looking forward to it.

I don't see the option via the website, but does anyone know if astronaut lectures can be purchased independently without the dinner/gold ticket or is that the cheapest route?

To clarify, General Stafford WILL be signing on Sunday, November 10.

Regarding the astronaut lectures, they are free and available to all AAMS attendees.

I am batting 1000 this year. Every astronaut I wanted to sign this year has canceled or in the case of Tom Stafford changed signing dates.

I have a flight out Sunday morning from Melbourne airport at 1125 am. Does anyone know if I can make it to the KSC Sunday when the show opens have General Stafford sign and then still get to Melbourne airport? I know its about 40 minutes away, so it will be close.

I know. I just bought panoramas of Scott and Bean to take there. Bean I can get through the mail but I guess I'll be holding onto the Scott for a year and hope both he and I make it there next year. Looking forward to meeting three Apollo astronauts I haven't met before though, and McCandless too. Will still be a great show.

Don't get me wrong it will still be a good show. I am just not having much luck however.

My wife will be happy. I wont be spending as much... she hopes.

Although I am not able to attend this year, I hope everyone has a great time. It's a wonderful opportunity the ASF affords, and I am grateful to have met so many great people (both astronaut and earth-bound) at their events.

I have a son getting married in March and another going through his very expensive CPL so I am grounded for this AAMS but you can "Set it in Steel" that I will be at the 2014...

All you guys who are at this years show are going to be taken on an amazing adventure will all their heroes, and will someone please give Fred Haise a big hand shake for me?

As a long-time exhibitor for the ASF autograph and memorabilia shows, one of the first actually, I'll be working at our station tables for the upcoming 2013 show this weekend and hope to see lots of folks attending.

I would like to provide, for purchase, actual flown-used shuttle orbiter nose gear tire segments of different sizes, of which, some could be quite a large cross section cut.

Each segment would include a descriptive folder with the tire information from BF Goodrich, NASA photos of the actual shuttle landing(s), and flight landing/deceleration data and record chart.

Prices would vary depending on size of each flown tire section (probably between $250 and $375+).

I am planning to have about a dozen or so of the segments available during the 2-day show, however, I am not sure if my quantities of a dozen tire pieces may be too low or even high.

If any cS members are planning to attend on Nov. 9-10 show and would possibly be interested in a tire segment, but of course with no obligation whatsoever to buy anything, would you be so kind to let me know in advance by either in this forum or by email? Thanks!

Also on display, and possibly for sale, will be a cross-section cut of a larger flown shuttle orbiter main leading gear tire that will be just under a foot and a half long.

I will be joining Robert at the collectSPACE booth this weekend. I'll have my 2013 patch set, as well as the Freedom 7, Sigma 7 and Faith 7 50th Anniversary patches available. I'll also have a box of miscellaneous patches and decals and some patches from last year. Everything will be offered at huge discounts. Hope to see everyone there!

Tim, will the 50th anniversary patches you will be selling at the show be the same ones as those sold on Farthest Reaches? I looked on your website but did not see those 50th anniversary patches.

I planned to go to the show mainly for Aldrin. But, I know it's going to turn into an argument over money with him -- in the true spirit of procrastination, I'll put it off until May.

Is anyone local willing to get a few things done by others, with a fair tip for the effort?

Farthest Reaches is the authorized seller for the Aurora 7 50th. I'll be offering a proper Freedom 7 50th, the Sigma 7 50th and the Faith 7 50th to complete the series.

Still no news on Aldrin's and Stafford's fees at the show? With the show in 3 days and as pricey as they will be, it makes it difficult to plan out what and how I'm getting things signed.

As I recall, Aldrin's prices last year were never listed online, but a full menu of prices was displayed at his table.

Tom Stafford's base autograph fee will be $275. There will be additional charges for crew completion items.

She was $50 at the last show, that may or may not change. She is great to chat with if you can catch her at a quiet time, she was almost always pretty busy with people last year.

We regret to inform you that Buzz Aldrin is unable to attend this year's show due to illness. Ed Gibson has also canceled his appearance due to a death in the family. Please send them your well wishes.

Sad but understandable of course. I hope Mr. Aldrin gets well and to Mr. Gibson my condolences. As always, thanks for the updates ASF.

Really looking forward to meeting Al Worden, Walt Cunningham and Bruce McCandless for the first time tomorrow, and Tom Stafford on Sunday. I've found I enjoy having a photo with the ones I meet as much or more than the autographs I get.

It's astounding how many guys were here last year and aren't this year. I'm so glad I went last year and this. If you've never been to the ASF show, pencil it in next year because there won't probably won't be many more with these guys.

This is my first show of this kind. Enjoying it.

That couple of minutes when Dee O'Hara was answering the last question yesterday (and the public was almost holding breath and crossing fingers) are priceless.

Longtime follower first post here.

2nd time at the show and a very enjoyable weekend so far. A bit different without the hoopla of Atlantis rollover and Apollo 17 40th. If you haven't been before make plans for 2014!
