I just hope that next time whoever, Novaspace or The Space Source wait a little longer after an event like the UACC show to have signings. Not all of us can afford multiple events. I personally wanted to send in 8 items but couldn't send in anything because I am still recovering from the San Antonio show.Charles |

While the cost for some of these signings can be high, in this case I decided to take the plunge for two reasons. First, I have never seen Fred Haise participate in either a show or organized signing. Second, I've got a multi-signed item on which he was one of the glaring omissions. I too would have sent in additional items had the overall cost been cheaper, however, I appreciate Mr. Haise and SpaceSource doing this event. Let's hope that we get a chance to see him either in Florida or Arizona next year. I've got a few more items I need him to sign!Rob P.S. - To date, nothing surpasses the cost of the John Young signing at Novaspace. Again, though, I paid it because of the rare opportunity to get his signature on a specific item. |

Well, I seem to be the odd man out yet again. I personally don't think these fees are high in the context of a charity signing. To my knowledge, Fred Haise signings are uncommon and the prices in relation to other signers is quite reasonable. As for the photo shots of the signings provided by the Host Site at no cost, this service makes the event even greater value for money.I obviously accept that many collectors work to a budget but to arrange for an Apollo 13 astronaut to attend a signing, albeit for charity, is a rare event these days and to my mind the pricing is relative and therefore good value. It is unfortunate that the numbers were less than anticipated but that just proves the power of good advertising. Had I not seen Robert's notification of this eventI would have missed out. Upon first hearing of the low numbers my instinct was to wonder if this will affect Fred Haise's decision to agree to any future invitation? If so, the money paid by all here does represent good value.

On a charity signing, I see no point in complaining about price. I agree Mr Haise might have actually raised more with a lower fee, but that was his call.I received my email yesterday with a digital photo of the signing of my item and notice it had shipped; a very nice touch. |

Just received my items here in London. Outstanding job, Spacesource. Several of mine had inscriptions and clearly Freddo took great care. Thanks to Greg and, of course, Freddo.Paul Bramley |

I would like to add my vote on a very positive transaction. Item was inscribed as requested and it was obvious that great care was taken to make it very legible and "clean". Great communication on the part of SpaceSource and the digital picture of Mr. Haise signing my item was an unexpected plus. They definately have my recommendation and I look forward to any future private signings they may have. Greg, thanks for a fine effort. |

Through my own forgetfulness, I have neglected to add my own positive story to this. I sent one item and purchased a photo to be signed through this event. Every step of the transaction was handled professionally and with great attention: Notification of receipt of my item, then the signing itself, the bonus of the photo of my item being signed, the shipping notification, and the receipt of my items. I am very pleased and satisfied and hope that the suppressed response to this event will not discourage another such signing. Instead, I hope that what I see to be 100% positive outcome for this event as related on this thread is encouragement for a future signing. Thanks to The SpaceSource. |

I have been out of town and just returned to find my Fred Haise item awaiting me. I can't say enough about the service from The Space Source. As others have posted here, the whole experience was excellent from start to finish including communication and packaging. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again for future signings. |
