Okay, like a lot of you, I can't stand it anymore! The show in Burbank is just too good to pass up! I've been looking up airfare prices from the east coast to the west and my best bet so far is about $245 roundtrip from Expedia and Orbitz. I know it's a stab in the dark, but anyone definitely know of any other sites which offer a similar or better price out of Jacksonville, Daytona or Savannah to Burbank? I'm trying to get in and out as soon as possible, so scheduling comes into play. And, yes, I know $245 is relatively cheap already, but saving another $50 would also mean another Christmas or birthday present I'd have for one more deserving friend of mine! Thanks! Rob

Rob-I searched Travelocity, Priceline and finally booked with www.Sidestep.com I was looking for over 4 months, trying to find a fare for under $400. Fares went from $875 down to about $650, then I locked on for $447 R/T from Hawaii, non stop to Burbank. The prices on these internet sites change almost daily. Good luck! This may be an option: Fly to Las Vegas- I know it sounds crazy but if you have a connection anyway with a layover the trip may be the same amount of time and you get to see the desert. Everything is way less expensive in Vegas- Car rental was $79 per week. and my hotel the night I am flying home is $49 at New York, New York (some hotels are running $19 a night that week). Just an option |

If this is of any help in price shopping, there are several regional airports around the area.Los Angeles Intl - LAX everyone knows this one, huge airport West of Burbank Burbank - BUR very very close Long Beach - LGB not too far South East from LAX, small and often has fair wars, check Jet Blue for deals Orange County - SNA about 50 miles South of Burbank offers a lot of service, may be pricey but worth a look. Ontario - ONT East of Burbank not sure how far, 40 miles or so? Big inland regional cargo hub with passenger traffic San Diego - SAN about 120 miles South of Burbank, but hey, take in Mexico or the Zoo while you are there too. Plus Apollo 9 Gumdrop just went on display on San Diego I hope this is of help for any last minute shoppers, you might catch a deal flying into one of these others. Personally, I really think Long Beach is worth a look. Jet Blue has been fighting American Airlines there for gates.
