I'm a newbie to both cS and Autographica, but am very excited about the prospect of meeting my first astronauts!I'll be dashing up from London on the Saturday (my only free day), and can anyone give me handy advice about taking pictures, getting signatures, and how long queues could be? Like so many of us I really want to meet V.T, and don't want to miss out! |

Just a few lines to confirm some details for the Autographica event. Valentina Tereshkova will be charging £20 per signature, there are no restrictions on taking photos etc, and no limit to the amount of items you can have signed. We do expect a queue, but doubt it will be to long, and we have never had to turn anyone away from a signing, so you can guarantee to meet your guest! We still have a couple of Diamond Passes left at £249, which will avoid any queuing and include the dinner, accommodation, four lectures etc. And we also have a few Gold Passes left at £39. The Saturday evening dinner is almost sold out, but we do have a few places with our choice of guest at just £50. Please contact me now if you want to attend any of the lectures, dinner etc. |

This will be my fifth Autographica and I can safely say that any newcomers will find that it will be a great day and that all signers will be more then accommodating, having met Scott Carpenter last year and Al Worden and Ed Mitchell in the years previously, and even though this is my fifth show I get just as pumped up four it.And I am really looking forward to meeting Charlie Duke. Anyway because I'm new to collectSPACE and I wont have a name tag, I shall be easily recognised by my light blue California t-shirt and my wife and daughter, hope two meet and speak two some of you, it would be a pleasure, catch you all there. |

Just read the sad news that Gordo Cooper has slipped the the surly bonds once more, a real shame. I was so looking forward to meeting the best damn pilot ever, godspeed Gordo. |

Yes it was very sad to hear the news of Gordo's death. I have never had the opprtunity to meet this great man, and was looking forward to doing so in just four days time at Coventry He will be greatly missed by so many, and our condolences to his family.
