From Lunar Legacies: The uploading of the Lunar Legacies Space Memorabilia Auction 46 to Invaluable and Auction Zip has been completed, and it is ready for viewing and pre-bidding.Due to the number of lots in this timed auction, it will be split into two sessions each starting at 8 a.m. PST on Saturday and Sunday, January 25 and 26, 2025. Miscellaneous lots will appear at the beginning of both sessions, due to the fact that Session 1 would have been too long and Session 2 too short. - Session 1 - Timed Auction

A notice from Donnis Willis with Lunar Legacies: When bidding in this auction, I suggest that you do not use Invaluable, but instead only use AuctionZip.There is a good reason for this which I only learned yesterday. It seems that in early December, Invaluable sent emails out to all their buyers, but not their auctioneers, outlining the coming changes which were implemented on Dec. 12 of last year. This change has not yet been implemented at AuctionZip, so please bid on that platform. Many of you already know this. The change was that any lot that sells for $200 or less will be subject to an automatic fee from Invaluable of $10. If you buy a lot for $10, then you will pay $20 for it before the buyer's fee. If something sells for $150, once again, a $10 fee will be slapped on it by Invaluable. Anything over $200 is unaffected by this change. Invaluable will add this $10 to all of your winning lots that are under $200. This does not affect me, because I come out even — they charge you and then they invoice me to pay them that money. I am writing this letter to warn you of what is coming. Please use AuctionZip for this auction — it's easy to sign up with them. If you already have a bid on something in Invaluable, you can either delete it and rebid at AuctionZip, or you can simply go to AuctionZip and bid one increment higher. I am also in the process of finding a new platform to host my auctions, and am mostly looking at HiBid. |
