From Lunar Legacies: Auction is next weekend, May 18th and May 19th.The uploading of the Lunar Legacies Space Memorabilia Auction 44 to Invaluable and Auction Zip has been completed, and it is ready for viewing and pre-bidding. Due to the number of lots in this timed auction, it will be split into two sessions each starting at 8 a.m. PDT. Miscellaneous lots will appear at the beginning of both sessions due to the fact that Session 1 would have been too long and Session 2 too short. - SESSION 1:
Saturday, May 18, 2024; 8 a.m. (Pacific Time) Lots 1 through 531 (Miscellaneous, Mercury, Gemini, Apollo) Invaluable | Auction Zip - SESSION 2
Sunday, May 19, 2024; 8 a.m. (Pacific Time) Lots 532 through 978 (Miscellaneous, Apollo-Soyuz, Skylab, Space Shuttle, Russian) Invaluable | Auction Zip You must register at Invaluable or AuctionZip to bid, if you have not already been automatically registered. There are descriptions still to be written (and a few photos to be added), but all should be completed in a week. The bidding numbers are correct and you may pre-bid now if you so choose once you are registered. Because it is a timed auction, mail-in bids cannot be accepted. |

I picked up the lunar dust brush (have not seen one of those at auction before) and the LM hammock. Part 2 tomorrow.

I saw that lot and its hammer price and thought "yep, Steve just acquired his third lunar surface tool". Congratulations! If the consigner of the dust brush and hammock could shoot me an email, I was the winner of another item in the auction that they consigned and would like to discuss the piece further. |

I guess we were in competition for the brush Steve. I set my budget at $10K hammer. Nice pick up. | |
