Is there a consensus on the GT-11 flown Titan rocket fragment lucites? It could be either from Gemini 5 or Gemini 11.

Also, the estimate of $20.5K for the Apollo 14 surface flown flag and patch by Alvin Bishop from September, 1971 is interesting.

I believe the consensus is GT-11 flown skin with a typo inscription. This is the second example we have offered for sale.

Yes, Al Bishop was a close personal friend of many Apollo astronauts and certified a few gifted-flown flags and patches in this format. While I do believe they were flown as attested, it's unfortunate that no Apollo 14 crewmen added their own verification, which in my opinion, could effect its value.

Thanks, I have a similar GT-11 launch vehicle lucite, but it's on a stand. From someone who worked at the Aerospace Corporation. It will be an interesting auction, for sure.

I've got a bit of an issue with the incorrect item being sent. Apologies for having to post this via collectSPACE but I've been emailing them for the last week but not a single reply.

They sent me lot 144 instead of lot 141.

Could someone please contact me via email or through Live Auctioneers. — Hayden

Just an update, Covid has been running rampant in Florida. I was out for 6 days and several others have also fallen victim. I think we are all 100% again but sometimes nature hits you hard.

All times are CT (US)
