Last week artist Michelle Rouch teamed with retired astronaut Captain Robert L."Hoot" Gibson to raise funds for "Taking Up Space," an organization that works with Native American girls interested in STEM fields, and provides mentorship and scholarships to allow some of the girls to attend Space Camp. Michelle gave a master class on how to draw the Apollo 15 CSM, and Hoot has generously donated his drawing, plus a bonus shuttle drawing that he did of the space shuttle, to be auctioned for the cause.

The auction is being hosted on the Space Hipsters Facebook page, where you can see images of Hoot's drawings and information on how to bid. Bidding starts at $100, and will close on 2 March 2021 at 7:15 Eastern. You do not have to be a member of the Space Hipsters group to bid.
