News broke yesterday that Phillips auction house will be selling two of John Glenn's watches, on Dec. 10, 2019 in New York City. The theme of this watch auction is "Game Changers."

The two watches being sold are Glenn's Breitling Cosmonaute (often called the "Scott Carpenter" model) and a one-off LeCoultre watch, specially made for Glenn, with the number "13" marking each of the hours.

The Breitling Cosmonaute sold for $156,250 and the LeCoultre watch sold for $62,500.
