Has anybody had trouble accessing this website? I have not been able to access for three days.

The contact email is also no good.

I was recently in communication with the proprietor of Liftoff Auction. He informed me that he closed the site down last weekend due to lack of interest in it and the cost of maintaining it going forward.

Thanks. Yep, that pretty much sums it up. Robert's post earlier in this thread was right. Getting the visitors to the site proved more difficult than I thought. Requesting links from other sites to build page ranking proved futile. Many don't want to help and simply won't even respond. I sincerely want to say thanks to Robert and collectSPACE for the link... it drove most of the visits.

Without the links I reverted to Google ads and Facebook ads which helped but were very expensive and I just couldn't afford to maintain. Now with my managed vps server and ssl set to renew, I decided to pull the plug.

I just want to say thanks to those that were members and those that supported me and the site. I truly and sincerely appreciated it.

I started the site because I wanted to make a difference in STEM education for kids and make a contribution to the hobby I love. I will continue to do this but will find other avenues to do so.

I encourage everyone to talk to your kids, nieces, nephews, grand kids or any other child about all things space. Too many are looking down at the latest technology in their hands and not going outside to look up at the stars.

Sorry to see this didn't work out. I for one thought it was a great idea.
