Author Topic:   Gus Grissom Signed Baseball: Sotheby's Sports Memorabilia Auction, April 24, 2008 DCCollector Member Posts: 181 From: Washington, DC USA Registered: Dec 2006 posted April 24, 2008 01:54 PM                For the astronaut-signed baseball fans, Sotheby's today auctioned off an Official National League (Giles) baseball signed by four of the Mercury Seven, including Alan Shepard, Gus Grissom, Wally Schirra and Scott Carpenter. The winning bid was $4,000 plus 25% buyer's premium, for a total of $5,000. The online catalog may be viewed here.
