I sent an email to Aurora Galleries asking for a total including shipping and so far haven't heard a peep from them. I also asked how they wanted me to pay. Do you physically have to phone them up and give your details? Any advice would be appreciated. |

Hello scotland ... Yes telephoning is the best, I have send an e-mail with billing & shipping address and telephone other details ... I'm confident I will have the item about one month after the auction, so first week of November ! |

I emailed aurora last week and got a very nice email back yesterday to say that there were a lot of items to deal with and that an email with total price plus international postage would soon be forthcoming. The items we have bid on are obviously worth waiting for so be patient guys. Now what about the auction on the 16th? Nick. |

For those of us in the UK, I have found in the past that it can take upto month after reciving the e-mail saying we are calculating shipping to recieve the invoice for approval. What I do is e-mail them and say as its international and I have to pay the shipping to just charge the card (Usually e-mailing the card number at the same time or asking them to use the details on file) and the items usually apear about a month after that. BUT I also give them about 2 weeks before doing this to allow for the initial rush to clear. As I only spent $25 this time around I'm not going to push but if I had spent $150K I would expect the item same day in a security van with police escort to the safety deposit box. |

I got two lots....got an email telling me total due and saying that hard copy invoice was coming USPS....but that ain't got here yet and it has been a week or so.Not worried....knowing how much they gotta deal with, I know it will come and the lots will arrive shortly after they get my money....just like last time I won two lots. |

Well, now 5 weeks after the auction I received a typed invoice but I guess the item will follow soon as Aurora has all necessary details ... Strike of Belgian Post might delay thinks further ... It went smoother last year ( had the item over here in Europe after 5 weeks ! ) |

I called them on about Oct 12 (a tuesday I think) to give my credit card number. They took it and said "we will ship them Friday and you can expect them about 5 business days later, via USPS."I did not get charged until Nov 8. The items finally came this pat Friday the 12...by UPS :-) They were packed very well though, and one item was even better than I expected from the catalog. ------------------ -Ben http://www.geocities.com/ovcolumbia/ |

My winnings arrived safely in the UK today, only 3 weeks or so after making payment. Bulletproof packaging and I never even got stung on customs duty Derek Horne
