Robert Pearlman Editor Posts: 47367 From: Houston, TX Registered: Nov 1999	posted 10-18-2021 12:17 PM This interview with William Shatner, taped before he was announced as a crew member on NS-18, reveals that he was initially being considered for the seat filled by Mark Bezos on Blue Origin's first human flight: Well, the truth of the matter is I had negotiations going on to go up in Blue Origin. I was going to go up on the first vehicle and I'm going to float in space. I went and saw the vehicle and here is where you sit and you'll float... and I'm thinking maybe I can bring some artistic meaning to what I am seeing and the feeling. And then he chose his brother to go up in space with him.

I'm doing good Jimmy, I'm doing good. But, I ain't paying 28 million bucks.
