Here are pictures taken by my brother, Roger Jr., on March 16, 2008, the day before the Vanguard 1 50th anniversary. They show the ruined TV-3 satellite, which is at the National Air and Space Museum, being examined by Marty Votaw and my father (they designed and built the TV-3).
