Aside from the Phobos-Grunt mission in 2011, have there been any other Russian scientific satellites launched in the last 10 years? I'm including those orbiting the Earth.

Does anybody know about Russian satellite and/or probe scientific endeavors in the last decade?

See book series by Paolo Ulivi "Robotic Exploration of the Solar System" (Part 4: 2004-2013 will be available soon).

Thanks for the heads up. Just from looking at the book description in Amazon it does appear that the Phobos-Grunt mission was pretty much it for the Russians. It should be an interesting read when it comes out.

Well you should maybe also consider the space telescopes (remember the Russian 10 meter diameter RadioAstron telescope launched in the summer of 2011... combined with ground-based observatories its resolution was planned to be 10,000 times better than the Hubble Space Telescope).

All times are CT (US)
