First look at the awesome STS-132 crew poster, shot on location at Minute Maid Park with the Houston Astros!

I wonder how weird it must feel to mimic baseball motions in a Launch and Entry suit!

Yes that is a Cricket bat Piers is holding and yes the crew was very agile running the bases, swinging bats, and I have a video of Ken Ham and Garrett Reisman playing catch with a ball I found in the stands...

Look at the guy sitting next to the mascot, that is Dennis the Junction Jack Mascot. I added him in PhotoShop so he is beside himself. I added the owner of Astros next to me as well as myself and the photographer to the crowd as well... got to love that Photoshop.

Sean, what are the ball caps they are wearing in the baseball cards along the top?

This is quite possibly the best crew poster EVER!

I see Mike Massimino and Steve Swanson in the bottom left.

Notice Mike Coats in the bottom right also!

I'm surprised you're not in there somewhere yourself, Robert!

Mike Massimino, Mike Coats and Steve Swanson are quite easy to spot. I also see several other NASA employees, some whom I also consider friends.

Who are the gentleman sitting in the back of the dugout, on the bench, in what appear to be tan flight suits?

I think I see Dave Wolf, second row in just left of center.

Dave Wolf wasn't there or dropped in...That is Lisa Navy, Mike Coats' secretary on his his left. On Mike Coats' right is the suit tech lead and those are suit techs in the dugout behind the crew. There are also three flight directors in the dugout, one in a red Astro shirt, one in a white Astro uniform with black eye patches and one in all black.

Looking at the photo to the left of Mike Coats his secretary. "Not" his actual left, I got turned around in the 2-d world...

The hat had Atlantis and STS-132 on them with what I think were Navy wings.

The Astros would not allow any other Team logos other than Astros or NASA related.

The suit tech lead, by the way, is Sharon McDougle. I had the pleasure of interviewing her while in Houston last summer. She was really funny, and really knowledgeable about everything related to the launch/entry-suits.

Mike Coats is sorta out-of-place facing the opposite direction from the crowd. What has his attention?

Now that's an idea of printing 3x5 card of astronauts doing their favorite sport with their mission emblem and their stats on the back.

I'm curious how the STS-133 poster will look. But being the last flight of the shuttle, I wonder how they will fit in any humor with that one.

I would like to see, somehow, the last crew poster incorporate all the faces of astronauts who have flown on the shuttle.

I believe Coats was Photoshopped into the picture, as were others...

Do one of the collages where if you look close you see the people's faces, step back and it's the mission logo. (Sean, if you use this idea, I'll give you an address to send the royalty checks.)

Sgt Pepper style might be a good one, wouldn't get them all in but they could get quite a few!

I am thinking a mosaic incorporation forming an image of the last mission emblem, or of the crew portrait pose.

Will this be available in the 8x11 size of the standard crew photos? I would love to get a copy and get signed by the astronauts.

Go Astros.

If you download the high resolution PDF, any local photo shop should be able to produce a very nice quality 8x10. NASA sometimes produces mini-posters (11x14 or so) but they are limited to employee distribution.

I love it... a friend of mine was on that mission and flew an object for my wife and me. I got this poster signed by the crew in silver sharpie and had it framed along with the object that was flown, the picture of the item in space, the certificate and a mission patch.

It's pretty much my favorite mission poster ever, but I have to admit, I worked for the Astros for awhile so I'm biased!
