Taken at JSC, presumably in the FFT. There are some notable differences between this and a flight article; but since 99% of us will never get to stick our heads inside a real OV, this is pretty cool. You can zoom right in to individual switches on panels, read the locker manifests, and see that the last crew in before these picures was doing Trans-Atlantic Landing abort training. According to the site, these were taken in 2001, so you see the "new" glass cockpit systems that Columbia, Discovery, Atlantis, and Endeavour have/had. The files require QuickTime. | |
