Johann Strauss II's "The Blue Danube Waltz" performance by the prestigious Wiener Symphoniker (Vienna Symphony Orchestra) at the magnificent halls of the MAK (Museum of Applied Arts) in Vienna was launched into space.

This iconic waltz – often referred to as the Anthem of Space – was broadcast to the farthest reaches of the universe, creating a musical bridge between humanity and alien civilizations. The transmission was carried out by the European Space Agency's (ESA) Deep Space Antenna DSA 2, located in Cebreros, Spain. The Blue Danube Waltz was sent on the direct path towards Voyager 1.

All times are CT (US)
