Those of us who had our websites hosted by provider Picturetrail lost them when Picturetrail unexpectedly ceased operations in 2021.

But in my case, thanks to a kind computer expert, my website was saved on a CD and now another kind computer expert has used that CD to restore my website to another provider. Now after about four years, it is now available again on the internet. So for those interested in autographs of astronauts, cosmonauts, space personnel and related space material, can now visit it here:

Astronaut Autograph Gallery

The website contains 23 albums and they contain autographs of the Apollo moonwalkers; flown astronauts, cosmonauts and taikonauts; much crew signed material; X-1 and X-15 rocket plane pilots; the first 59 women to fly in space; Insurance covers, and more.

Of special note are autographs of all the astronauts that flew in space on the 166 Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Skylab and Space Shuttle flights. And also included are autographs of over 550 space travelers, from Yuri Gagarin in 1961 to Hazza Al-Mansuri in 2019. Only missing are autographs of the two rookie cosmonauts who flew on the doomed Soyuz 11 flight in 1971.

Many images are housed in each of the 23 albums and after visiting an album, you can exit one album and select another by clicking on "Homepage" at the top left.

Also, the website has not been updated, as it is frozen in its final form when the provider ceased operations, so no updated images or information can be added, nor anything changed.

Many years of time, effort and thought went into this website and it is very satisfying to have it back on the internet - and all because of two kind people who made it happen.

Excellent news, Bob! Glad to see the site back online after such a long absence.

It is a terrific reference and one I hope everyone bookmarks (again).
