The National Air and Space Museum is looking to hire a space history curator. The application period closes Aug. 17, 2016. Among the position's duties:

Conducts scholarly historical and technical research with an emphasis on space history or the history of science/technology.
Completes curatorial tasks in space history or the history of science/technology, including technical research on artifacts and development of a collection of artifacts.
Manages a professional collection of artifacts.
Gives oral presentations to professional peers, staff, and the public on the museum’s research, exhibits, and collections.
Prepares exhibit scripts, proposals for exhibits and public programs, research plans, reports, book reviews, and other documents.

The position is open to all U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals.
