Launched earlier this year, TheArmchairAstronaut.co.uk is a non-profit public outreach website detailing many public space events in the United Kingdom, both astronomy and spaceflight. Events can be added for free and will be included for advertising in the sites Twitter and Facebook pages.Follow on Twitter @armchair_astro to receive the latest news and announcements.
All events are listed in a single page in order of date. There is also an interactive UK map showing the locations and details of upcoming space events.
The aim of the website is to raise awareness of UK space events and to raise engagement of teachers, students and the general public at UK space events. We are sponsoring a number of events and sponsoring schools to attend events.
