John Hetlinger worked on Apollo and then led development of the Hubble Space Telescope's COSTAR and STIS instruments as an engineer and manager for Ball Aerospace.

Now retired, Hetlinger, 82, appeared on America's Got Talent on Tuesday (June 7).
