Want to own a house designed by Jim Lovell?
Captain James Lovell, a former NASA astronaut best known as the commander of the nearly disastrous Apollo 13 mission, is putting his Texas lake house on the market for $3.5 million.

The Horseshoe Bay home has about 130 feet of waterfront on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson, a popular vacation spot about 55 miles from Austin... The Mediterranean-style house, which measures about 4,900 square feet, has views of the lake from nearly every room, according to Ms. Bennett. The house is being sold fully furnished.

Capt. Lovell and his wife Marilyn bought the property in 1988, then designed and built the four-bedroom house on the site. In the double-height living room, five round stained-glass windows depict the insignia from Apollo 13 and Captain Lovell’s other space missions...

All times are CT (US)
