My fiancee sent me a link to this sweatsuit based on Neil Armstrong's Apollo 11 spacesuit.

It's a bit pricey at $120, but it does look pretty neat.

I saw a whopping $139 PLUS $25 shipping yields $164! Excessive. eBay has this for $200, ouch.

I wonder if the Armstrongs get a percentage for this?

Clearly ladies may enjoy this more than guys according to the sad look the model gives this uniform.

That would certainly be a unique novelty item to wear around the house on a cold winter night. I'm not too sure that I'd want to be seen in public in that, though, unless I was going to a costume party. And that pricetag is definitely "astronomical."

Yikes.

I wonder who would buy something like this, esepcially at that price. I'd bet most of them bought would be sold to people giving them as well-meaning gifts to a space fan who'll likelt stick it in a closet forever immediately after the gift giver leaves.

For anybody that's looking for one, the original 'Armstrong' one was sold out.

However, a newer one with 'Space Crew' instead of 'Armstrong' can still be found here.

I was disappointed that they are no longer being sold. If anybody sees this and wants to sell theirs though, by all means contact me.
