I've no idea if this is the right section to post this in but I wasn't sure which part of the forum it best fitted in!I was looking to order a T-Shirt from one of the NASA gift shops. I usually take an X-Large in UK sizes but wasn't sure if an X-Large in the UK means the same thing as an X-Large in the US! Can anyone offer any help? |

In my limited experience I've always gone for the same as my UK size. I think the make is sometimes more important as the cut can differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. Please accept this reply in a very manly James May way!! |

I normally take a large for t-shirts in the UK but the polo shirt size I chose (which fitted) after doing the astronaut training experience was a medium. Hope that helps. |

He means the Astronaut Training Experience. Some of the best money I've ever spent!

I was thinking about doing that when I go down but the next time I go down is to see STS-134 so is it worth it? |

It was when I did it in 2006, but that was the old, whole day program. Haven't heard about the half day one. |

Would that be an X-Large in English or in SI units? |

Well I'm sure you've all been having sleepless nights wondering about this, but I decided to order an extra large, it turned up today (packed in a gummi bears box for reasons best known to themselves) and an extra large was a good fit.Just mentioning this in case anyone else is ordering for the first time and is unsure on sizing. |

I always thought NASA t-shirts came in three sizes: large, extra-large and humungous....or was I thinking of something else? |
