If you look closely, the lady at the first of the video is on the classic Star Trek episode 'Spocks Brain'.

Well the Internet really started in 1969, the year of the first Manned Lunar Landing! The first message ever to be sent over the ARPANET occurred on October 29, 1969. This message was sent from the UCLA SDS Sigma 7 Host computer to the SRI SDS 940 Host computer. The message itself was simply the word "login". The "l" and the "o" transmitted without problem but then the system crashed.
Also nice to know: You can check-out how your favorite website looked like since the ‘active’ beginning of the World Wide Web at the Wayback Machine.

The actress you are referring to is Marj Dusay (She played the part of Kara in 'Spock's Brain'.)

They were on target with the predictions. Is that Al Gore from behind up there? Is this the photo to back up his claim?
