While not exactly space related, there's now the next generation of a different Schirra website.

Wally and Jo's daughter, Suzanne, an accomplished artist, has just opened up her new website.

The new site is dedicated to her father, "the other famous person in the family", with a great unreleased photo of him towards the bottom of the home page.

Thanks for the tip!

Being an animal lover in addition be a huge space nut, this is a great place to go see! So Ms. Schirra should do some Laika and other space animal artwork for "us". Ha!

Someone obviously learned how to have great fun from a master!

I'm sure that Suzy wouldn't mind hearing any postive comments about her site from fans of her father. She has devoted her life to the subject matter and the photo of Wally with his dogs is from their personal family album and, to me, is just priceless.

It had to be tough growing up in his shadow and to carve out her very own, very different niche.

Suzy really put her heart and soul into the planning of the site and to dedicate it to her father is one of the kindest things that you can do for someone.

And, as a dog lover myself, I really love her work.

Suzy does indeed do great work - and congratulations, Tracy, on what I think is the best web design of yours I have seen so far.

Talullah has become my favorite after working with these photos for awhile. Her use of color versus knowing that breed of dog quite well, just steals my heart.

Bunky is a close second.
