Hello

Since Wednesday airplanes come to Le Bourget for the show beginning Monday (only for professionals / public days are 22,23,24 June).

And of course, they have begin the tests for the air show.

And I live in few meters on the take off and landing runaway, in the rarest military houses touch the airport. They fly, since Wednesday above our heads less 100 meters, sometimes less more.

I have taken some shots and here you could see not the most beautiful photos I have made (easy for me few meters of planes) but the most impressives views with my house and planes. I haven't professional photo camera...

Here the link.

Tomorrow, during all afternoon, preparation flights with fighters and BIG passengers planes as Airbus, Boieng...

The funny thing of this great moment is the town evacuate all chidrens of schools during the show and test (my daughter take bus every day to his new school some kilometers away), cars circulation is prohibited but the week-end all is open...

I try to take others photos during the show inside and from my garden.

LadyCosmos (nice nickname by the way!),

Nice pictures! You have the airshow right over your head (and for free!), that's pretty cool.
Was the A380 noisy compared to other civilian aircraft? Nice to see the Rafale flying!

Chris.

Hi LadyCosmos,
great photos, some of those shots look a little too close for comfort. That's one big bird; I managed to see it up close and airborne at Farnborough. Enjoy the show and do keep us posted,

Hello

Thanks for yours compliments.

For the Airbus A 380 noise compared to the others commercial aircraft, you listen really the difference... very silent compared to the others planes I heard all day. Just like a little VROOOOOUUUUUMMMM and when I see it in flight, I feel me safe, no danger, no apprehension with this plane in despite his big size...

Tomorrow, I will be with the rescue fire team on the runaway to shot take off and landing

And Tim, I will try to find your Boss Linda

Hello

Today was the 1st opening public day Air Show. Very very bad weather...

This morning, in ESA Pavillon, was here Jean-Pierre Haignere for Astronaute Club Europeen/ACE Trophy awarded the student teams for the Suborbital flight challenge. It was an public sighting. Before the beginning, I talk with Jean-Pierre Haignere and I have felt his really enthusiasm for this project. He have kindly signed his book (Chevaucheur des Nuées) with a beautiful inscription (I try to translate in english : Invitation to do few Earth orbits with me) and 1 photo and one cover relating his 2 space trips. A really gentleman.

After I have visit the Airbus A300 Zero-G of Novaspace. Really impressive...

Etc.. Etc... A nice day except the rain. I come back soak, completly as I'm fall in water.

After the show I will post my best shots.

Tomorrow, it's a great day with astronauts sighting in ESA Pavillion. Jean-Pierre Haignere tell me he will be here with Claudie, Jean-françois Clervoy will be here too with some others ESA Astronauts and Jean-Loup Chretien will be here too. He tell me too ''please no more 1 or 2 items to autographs''.

If I can give an advice, you must be arrive in the pavillion 1/2 before 10.00am (in fact when the gates at 09.00 open, ''run'' to the Pavillion) and 14.00pm because it's very small inside and for security reasons they limited the visitors inside, and after the beginning of this ESA celebration, it would be impossible to enter if you are just visitor.

And for Tim, I have a question: Which company for Nancy. Many Florida Company in Florida Pavillion and I have seen 3 Susan. I haven't ask her. Look here photos of the Florida Pavillion.

And I'm just inform. To Cs members will visit the Air show this Saturday, I advise come this morning to ESA Pavillion because our ''Dear'' President of French Republic will visit the show tomorrow at 02.00pm and I suppose he would go to ESA Pavillion to see astronauts and photographs...And as a Rock or movie Star as he like to be, all will be close on his passage.

from his Agenda : He assist to the flights show, visit French Industries Pavillion, ESA, CNES and a speech

Hi LadyKosmos-

Her name is Nancy. The company name is AERO Industries. But it's OK. I didn't see your post until Sunday afternoon, so you may miss her.

Thanks for the photos though.

Tim
