The following was mailed to collectSPACE e-newsletter subscribers yesterday, but as the Earth begins another revolution around the Sun, its appropriate and intended for all our readers: quote:
Editor's note: This year in space history will be remembered for the space shuttle's return to flight, Shenzhou's second crewed launch, Deep Impact's rendezvous with a comet and NASA's "vision" taking shape in the form of a new spacecraft. For the collectSPACE community, 2005 is when Pete Conrad's and Neil Armstrong's life stories appeared in print, John Young conducted his first signing, Max Ary stood trial, NASA Glenn held its first space memorabilia show and astronaut 'ambassadors' began donating their moon rocks. Whatever the new year holds, its my hope that we can share it together. My best to all all our readers for a healthy, prosperous and space-filled 2006. Happy New Year!- Robert Pearlman

Happy New Year to the CollectSpace community! 2005 marked the first year I met some of you, at the New Jersey Sims & Hankow show; I look forward to the next time.Is it just me, or does 2006 seem like it should still be a ways in the future, not the present?  |

Robert..Happy 2006 and thank you for what you do. Collectspace is fantastic and i've learned alot being a member of this forum. It was also great to meet a couple of the collectspacers in person in 2005..Looking forward to meeting more of you in 2006. |
