Today I received a very welcome but unexpected letter from Special Agent Tim Fitzsimmons of the FBI at San Diego. Special Agent Fitsimmons has spent several years with Operation Bullpen which has resulted in jail time for a number of people involved in selling forged autographs.I was informed that Stan and John Fitzgerald, of Stans Sports in Caldwell New Jersey had agreed to refund the money I lost in 1997 on buying forged Armstrong autographs from their company. I would like to publicly thank Special Agent Fitzsimmons and others from the FBI involved in this operation. It seems there is some justice in the world after all. Now I need to track down the Easton Press set I swapped for an Armstrong. Regards, Ian from Oz.  |

Good Lord! This is better than Santa Claus! This is great for the hobby and possibly a miracle to boot. Just make sure that the letter from the FBI isn't a forgery... | |
