I fell off my chair when I received an email starting:<<FROM THE DESK : DAVID R.SCOTT I am the credit manager in a bank here in the United Kingdom...>> Now I know he lives in the UK and has banked a lot of fees <LOL> but it CAN'T be the same one, could it?! Reading on, it looks like one of the Nigerian scams..deceased relatives, unclaimed inheritance etc. Amusing coincidence though. I'll take a bit more notice when I get one "From the desk of Yuri Gagarin." Paul Bramley |

During a particularly bad bout of e-mail virus of the sort that searches your address book and sends out e-mails from addresses it finds there, someone at NASA or in frequent contact with the agency apparently became infected, because I was getting a lot of virus spam from nasa.gov addresses.Among them were several very inappropriate messages "from" Peggy Whitson. ------------------ http://allthese worlds.hatbag.net "America's challenge of today has forged man's destiny of tomorrow." - Commander Eugene Cernan, Apollo 17 Mission, 11 December 1972 |

Yes, I too, received an email from "David R Scott" today. It landed in my bulk mail folder so I just deleted it. Mine had a file attachment, too. I just figured the name was a coincidence - there must be a lot of people with the name David R Scott - but it certainly got my attention for a moment. |
