As some of you know I was widowed over a year ago from my wife of 37 years. Frankly, I didn't expect to ever remarry and wasn't looking. God bought Kathy Karlin into my life, and I must say that love found late in life is very sweet. We are both very happy and looking to the future. We hope some of my cS friends can make the wedding in Wichita 12/11/04. An open invitation is out. We'll even show you Cosmosphere. You fellow baseball fans will find interesting that I proposed to Kathy at a Milwaukee Brewers/Chicago Cubs Game. Yes, I posted on the score board "Kathy, will you marry me? Steve" We were also on the Jumbotron, and Sammy Sosa hit a two Run Home Run just for us. Kathy is coming with me to the Burbank afair, and we hope to make many new friends. we're very excited about it. Which leads me to the Jay Leno Show. We have four tickets, and two are extra for the Show on Thurday Sept 2. Show starts filming at 4:30 PM, and admission starts at 3:30 PM, with it being possibly adviseable to be in line earlier. Anyone like to join Kathy and I. Forgive this excursion form space. |

Congrats Steve! Just wanted to tell you something I found out when I attended the Leno show two years ago. Just because you have a ticket does not mean you will get in. NBC always gives out way more tickets than they have seats for to assure all seats will be occupied come show time. The studio holds just over 300 people, if memory serves, and depending on who that night's guests are, the line can get quite long even by morning. I heard people were camping out for two days when Paul McCartney appeared a few years back! Also, Leno "guarantees" seats up front where he does his monologue for the first 30 people in line, but I had to get in line by 11 AM that morning and wait all afternoon and even then I was #16! So, you shouldn't wait too long before arriving or you might not make it inside! Have fun and I'll see you and your's in Burbank! Rob

I hear a rumor that Neil Armstrong is going to be the best man. If that's true, consider this my RSVP that I will most definitely be there!!!Seriously, I wish you all the best. Take care, my friend. Rick Houston |
