I'm sure it as safe as houses but I just love their description of the 727-200 as a "new" aircraft. (Production ran 1967-84). Paul |

I think they actually mean the 'newness' would stem from the aircraft being modified for parabolas and tourists. Thanks for the link! It seems very interesting and enticing!
I live only half a day's ride from south Florida and though $3,000 is a lot, it's something I'm considering for the future, say, within a year...or so!
I emailed No Gravity tonight and asked about the cost per person for a private group. Maybe they would make a deal for cS members?!?! I'll let everyone know what I find out.
Anyone have any feedback on this company or anything that should be known to the public?
Also, is there any other private company that has come up with this same idea?

Hi Rob,
There was a company in Austria doing this a couple of years ago, but using a turboprop (Dornier or Saab I think). Then there are the flights offered in Russia in an IL-76 or fast jet. Not aware of anyone else doing it in the US.
I agree the price seems "reasonable" and I like the idea of a group flight!

Hi Paul and Rob,
What you are talking about is what airline transport, or private pilots go through during training, this I had to do for my pilots licence, its rather like the vomet comet training astronauts do- I can tell you- it certainly is, its called a stall- one has to turn the aircrafts engine off- then I got to feel like floating in space, otherwise- if you dont go through with this- you fail on certain points. By the way- in Page Field, Florida, I have a friend with a B727 and he also has started doing these flights- I do not know the price as yet-
next year we are going to the Air and Space Show again, then to Page Field again- to maybe try this out. Great to meet you Rob,

Hi Rob,
Thanks for asking about my health, just a virus-rather like the flu-- proberly the intence heat down the Gulf Coast- the 2 weeks we were there- thunderstorms,the heat was bad,humid, plus swimming and flying planes- in temps over 96 degrees- we Brits arent used to it-----------We are going to the Coventry Autografica in October, in the Uk. Would love to see you again next year at the Air and Space Show- [ I DID GET A GREAT LOT OF GOODIES] hope you did, swa your photos- mine are on a digital camera,
