"Back in the days".....kinda like the early computer printer art....there was typewriter art......and I HAVE done a websearch albeit along time ago, looking for some of this stuff.... I used to have a picture (circa 1969) of an astronaut climbing down the ladder on the LEM.....anybody got that with the "instructions" on how to type it out !?!?I know I have mine somewhere in the pile, but I thought I would throw this out and see what comes back ! THANKS ! Gene Belle |

There is a computer program that lets you do this type of workI used to have a copy on my PC but I think I have removed it . I will still have it somewhere - it was freeware - so give me a few days and I'll see if I can tracack it down from my CDs. Basically, you give it an image file and it then converts the scene into alphanumerics . Some pictures come out better than others. If I remember B%W were better than color Phill

The designs you describe are also called ASCII Art. I found the following via Google: http://tinyurl.com/2klxo |

The one I remember is Raquel Welch in her 1,000,000 Years BC pose. Type font never looked so good! | |
