Hi, I just got back my photos of the induction ceremony and due to the low lighting they didn't come out at all! If anyone has good copies of the ceremony, the Brunch with the Moonwalkers or the Lunch with the Mercury astronauts, I'd really appreciate you sending me copies. My email is astrobbo@hotmail.com Thanks! Rob[This message has been edited by Rob Joyner (edited May 08, 2004).] |

Rob, Just wondering how the two pictures I took of you with Carpenter and Duffy turned out. The ones of mine that you took with my camera turned out great! Thanks, Best regards, Pat |

Hi Pat, Those actually turned out great! It's just that the ceremony stage wasn't lit with any direct lighting like spots or even floods. The video I took came out okay, except when my battery suddenly quit even though it read as having over two and a half hours of life. Luckily, I had a backup. Unfortunately, it occured during John Glenn's presentation! So there's about four seconds that I missed! Thanks again for taking the Carpenter and Duffy photos, Rob |

Rob, I've got some decent ones from the brunch. I'll have them up on my website, but it will probably be sometime after June 11 (Master's comprehensive exam - gotta study!). Check there (www.johnwyoung.org) and I'll send you higher res copies if you want them.I might have one or two decent ones from the induction ceremony - but the low light ruined most of mine, too. I can't believe they used a spotlight at the gala banquet, but nothing for the induction ceremony. |

Thanks Danatbird, I'm feeling better already! I guess the forecast of rain reminded everyone of last year's downpour. Just one following spot or one floodlight would've made all the difference at the induction. I would very much appreciate anything you have! Thanks! Rob |
