Just got back from seeing this great German flick, "Goodbye, Lenin" -- which is about a German family which tries to keep news of the fall of the DDR from their communist-supporting mother. I won't give away anything, except to say that (a) it's a terrific film and (b) has this entire dramatic subnarrative which revolves around German Cosmonaut Sigmund Jaehn that any space nerd would enjoy.Definately check it out. |

Thanks for the heads-up. I may have missed that movie, and its space undertone. |

Definitely a very funny movie that has already sold very well in many countries. Must be one of the best sold German movies in latest years.Sigmund Jähn, btw, while having been an attributed role in the script of the movie, does not appear in the movie in person. He was invited to do so, but declined the offer. Still, an excellent movie, and very funny as well. ------------------ Jürgen P Esders Berlin, Germany http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Astroaddies | |
