I know this has nothing to do with space, (well actually it was the Apollo 11 emblem)but, for those of you who would like to witness from the sidelines the raising of some bald eagles in the wild, the female eagle is now sitting on her nest after laying her first egg yesterday. When I generated this link, the nest was fairly inactive. This nest is in an old dead pine tree on an island in the middle of a river. It's a pretty amazing thing to witness from now until the young ones leave the nest in July. Enjoy.......... | |
