I wondered what everyones space related wishes for 2004 are?

Mine are
1. See the shuttle RTF
2. Announcement of New Space goals
3. To continue getting orange envelopes in my mail
4. To get to some Astro's lectures
5. To find an Armstrong WSS in a second hand shop for much cheapness!

Cheers to all
Neil

I'll third that, and also add on a personal note, that I hope to make it to Adult Space Camp (Academy) in the fall! Wish me luck that I get the vacation time! -C

Personally, I hope to be able to cheer for the winner of the X Prize in the coming year!

While I'd like to see the shuttles back in the game, my most ardent wish is that Rutan (or someone) wins the X Prize before the shuttle returns to flight.

I wish that:

1 - All the remaining MARS probes success
2 - Rutan wins the X-Prize
3 - Neil goes on a worldwide book signing tour
4 - Sims/Hankow set a new best at their show
5 - The US returns to flight safely and with a clear directive towards the future

Well in 2004 ...
1. Space Shuttle RTF with ongoing build-up of the ISS
2. Some great auctions of Space memorabilia
3. Chinese announce manned Moon-mission(s)

Best wishes to all cS enthusiasts !

2004, well let's see....

I'd like for the U.S. to decide to do something in space besides go around in circles...

I'd like to meet the two Apollo astronauts I have NOT yet met.

I'd like to see some of these collector's collections - in person....

Jake :-)

Ok, here is my list....

- Get the shuttle flying again (even with all the limitations put on it)
- See a shuttle launch in person
- I agree with Jake, we need to quit flying around in circles and GO SOMEWHERE!
- 3 successful Mars landings in the next month
- See G. Dubya make a "We choose to go to the moon..." speech. Oh wait...that already didn't happen.
- See the Rutan group win the X-Prize
- China make plans for a moon landing so we will have to follow.

And of course keep adding to my growing colllection. I have to keep up with my neighbor Jake! hehe!

Well now that must be getting my hands on that "unfindable" space item or on that "unfindable" space flight related book.
Not kidding here, as I'm really looking forward to some serious Space memorabilia auctions whre these items/books might turn up ( Started to put some money aside already ).
