Is it me or is it impossible to download a mission press kit in PDF format from the NASA site? I opened several PDFs and they all will not give the option to "save as" as it had in the past. Is it my software or a change in NASA policy?Cliff |

Hi Cliff,I use windows with IE5. The work around that I use is to to copy the PDF files from my C:\windows\temporary internet files once i have viewed them on-line. Eveything you view on-line is copied into this folder. Once copied you can view it at your leisure. Paul |

Hi Cliff,When I locate a PDF on the NASA site that I intend saving (and it works with IE 5 / 5.5 / 6) it automatically launches Adobe Acrobate Reader. From my experience, it is only from within Acrobat Reader that I can then elect to save the document to a chosen HDD directory. Regards Mike |

Try this:Instead of clicking on the link to open the PDF, right-click the link and then choose "Save target as." Tod |

Certainly in recent months the right-click 'Save As' option has not worked on NASA files. I reckon they have implemented the security options within their PDF files. I now normally let it download and open the PDF then do the save . Bit of nuisance - since the older download straight away was much better . |
