I'm in the process of getting some items framed. I thought I'd look for a place to make me an engraved mission summary to frame with the item. Does anybody know where to get these made up? Does anybody know where I can get a well written brief description of each of the Apollo missions? Would anybody care to take a shot at describing one of the missions in three of four sentences? For summaries try NASA's own history web sites - several - or Encyclopedia AstronauticaYou could produce your own using Word or similar WP package. Print onto fine paper then stick this to good sound white thick card. Trim edges (chamfer) and apply to th inside of your mask for print etc/Then put on surround. This is how the Museums I have exhibited at have produced their descriptions for my exhibits. They usually display the Description outside of frame just below it. |

My friend Dr. Rob Sumowski is very good at writing short, highly descriptive "blurb" type paragraphs. He gets lots of practice when he installs his space collection/exhibition at the museum in his hometwon twice a year. You met him at the dinner in DC. GH | |
