I just wanted to wish everyone the best of holiday seasons. I'm about to take my Christmas vacation and will probably be away from the computer for a week while I try to avoid a total meltdown! It's been a fun year! I've enjoyed reading all your postings including the little arguments. I think I've learned a lot. I know my bookmarks have increased over the year!

Let's all have a Happy New Year and the first week in January we can compare all the great space gifts we got!!!

Peace on Earth (and everywhere else!)

...lots of nice, postmarked brown envelopes, with "PHOTO: DO NOT BEND" on them.... and, of course, world peace, good health, blessings for all of us and our families and friends... and our country!

...to paraphrase Apollo 8, "...a Merry Christmas and God bless all of you - all of you on the good earth."

Well, I'm back!

It certainly was a SPACED OUT Christmas in my house! I was thrilled to find a "WE HAVE CAPTURE" signed copy under my tree! In addition I got several Mercury display plates, a NASA coffee cup, several soace movies, a NASA DVD that has six NASA features on it, several space related ornaments, The Homer in Space Simpson set and the Armegedeon Russian Space Stration model which I'm hoping to reconfigure to a Mir replica.

Also since I still do my five minute weekly update on a local Sports station and sometimes are shown on the website, My wife got me five NASA shirts from the KSC catalog. They have different space-related sayings on the back such as "Let's do Launch, I need my Space, Get with the program, etc". So I'm set for a while!

Everybody have a Happy New Year!
