I'm looking for a Web site that has photos
taken onboard Challenger during the STS-7
mission with the four Group 8 Shuttle astronauts wearing & proudly showing off their "TFNG" shirts. The first members of Shuttle Astronaut Group
8 made their 1st spaceflights on STS-7 and
during the flight wore shirts showing that
"TFNGs" were now in space.
"TFNG" stood for "Thirty-Five New Guys" and
probably all 35 members of the TFNG wore
these special shirts on their 1st flights.
It's important that I find a Web site that
displays photos of the four STS-7 astronauts posing together wearing the "TFNG" shirts. Thanks, Bob Mc. |
