Author Topic:   Put your name on Mars Matt T Member Posts: 1368 From: Chester, Cheshire, UK Registered: May 2001 posted 02-10-2002 06:48 PM                Hi All, This may be old news to some of you but for those who haven't heard NASA are sending two mini-rovers to Mars in 2003. In addition to scientific instruments one (or possibly both, I'm not 100% certain) of these rovers will also be carrying a compact disc containing the names of people who have registered with NASA as wishing for their name to be carried to Mars. Simply register your name at http://spacekids.hq.nasa.gov/2003/home.htm and you're on your way to Mars. It's free as well I should add. As you can tell from the website address it's primarily meant to appeal to kids, but I have a sneaky suspicion that I might not be the only collectSPACEr who signs up...
