I am hoping to go to Moscow next yaer as a 40th birthday treat. While there i hope to visit Star City which is just outside Moscow. Does anyone know if it is open to the public or who to write to to get a tour round. Any help would be appreciated.

John

Star City is not open to the public. Arrangements must be made in advance to gain access to what still remains an active military base.

I would recommend contacting Space Adventures ( http://www.spaceadventures.com/ ) to arrange a tour. I once worked for SA and can recommend both their tour of Star City and other Russian packages.

Thanks for the info, unfortunately I already contacted SA but I'll have to wait for a lottery win before I can afford their prices. Thanks Again.
