Did anyone watch that show last week about how NASA could have faked the moon landings? They had no evidence that can't be easily explained. These seem to be the same old arguments that "hoax believers" have been using for over thirty years. I think one of the best examples to prove that the moon landings were real was when Dave Scott performed the hammer and the feather experiment on Apollo 15. I would really like to know what my fellow collectors think about these "fake" moon landings. Thanks.

I didn't waste my time watching that show. I'm sure it nothing but junk. Of course the moon landings were real. They were one of the greatest achievements in human history, and nothing anyone says or does can change that.

There are always people out there ready to knock you down. The moon landings without doubt were the greatest acheivement by man, ever!! I saw a chat show a few years ago about how the moon landings were completely fake. All these people sat around a coffee table sudying photographs of the astronauts on the moon. They highlighted various aspects of the photographs (such as shadows -my God they were digging!) which they said could only be achieved in a studio. It was so obvious to see they that they did not have a clue. It was so pathetic that is was laughable. Still there will always be unbelievers. I mean there are people out there that think dinosaurs never existed despite the thousands of fossils that have been found. Obviously these fossils are all fakes!! Sorry but people who question the unquestionable are just a waste of space.
Thats my thoughts. Thanks for listening.

Yes, the show was garbage. It's simple tabloid T.V. The sad thing is people will watch and believe without thinking. Show someone a picture of a man on the moon, point out that there are no stars in the sky and you've just created doubt...you made them question...Where are the stars??? Oh my gosh, the moon landings were faked!!! An explanation can be so simple....Have you ever been to a football game at night under the bright lights? Ever looked up? Where did the stars go? Oh my gosh!! The football game was faked!

I saw that show and was screaming at my TV! What a bunch of crap! There has been a long thread about that show over in the sci.space.history newsgroup. Seems that everyone agrees that it was a waste of time.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I really appreciate your thoughts. I watched that silly show out of sheer curiosity and thought it would be pretty interesting to see credible people put these "fake" theories to rest once and for all. But, instead it was the tabloid type conspiracy garbage. I finally turned it off when they tried to say that the crew of Apollo 1 and other astronauts were killed because they were going to expose the "hoax". That was so disgraceful and ridiculous. Man, that really burned me up! It's really sad to see people take the greatest and most exciting acheivement in the history of mankind and try to cheapen and degrade it. Thanks again everybody for your input.
